Our Learn2Swim program caters for all children from 6 years up to 12 years.  We do not cater for the beginner swimmer.  A swimmer must be able to attempt to swim at least 15 metres of any stroke.  A short assessment takes place in advance of the swimmer being offered a place in our program.

On completion of the Learn2Swim program the swimmer it is intended that the swimmer can swim proficiently in Front Crawl, Back Crawl and Breaststroke.  Some swimmers may progress to a club session(s) where we cater for the competitive swimmer and the social swimmer.  We have limited availability accross all club sessions.  Please see our Club Membership Enquiry page for more information about joining the club.

Alternative options for those that wish to keep swimming include lane swimming with other providers or starting a Water Safety course or a lifeguarding course.  Please contact Leisureworld or Cork Lifesaving Club for further information.
